One small plus: Russell Stover is based in the Kansas City area, so you get a nice small Russell Stover chocolate in your room as a welcome gift - along with two bottles of water - when you first arrive.
It is definitely dated and in need of a make-over. I also agree with what everybody else said so far. You are almost better off at a Hampton Inn or other brand. There are absolutely no outstanding features at this Hilton. The staff is not very accommodating, either. By the way, they have not upgraded the computer system at this time. I cannot stress this point enough, as I have had to update my account every single time I have stayed there. The property is corporate-owned, and it's a shame they have such an outdated computer system. In my experience, I had to follow up once out of every three stays or so, as points didn't get posted after several weeks. Unless they have upgraded their computer system lately, they send your HH information to the HQ manually. Also keep a copy of your folio until the points post.
